all the standard rules of roleplay apply, don't be a jerk and don't blur the lines. ic drama is more than welcome, naturally, but keep it at that. because ooc communication is an important part to keep this comm going we'll be taking these claims seriously, so please don't hesitate to come to us if you find someone's doing this.
writing is an essential part of this roleplay and most scenes will be public. you may also post open scenes on the fp to keep communication going. if you want quick interaction you can ask for a custom or post an open conversation starter on the fp. comments will be taken as in person.
as this isn't your average community there will be no intros, instead we ask that within a week of joining you post anything, whether that's a narrative, a conversation starter or an open scene. we will be asking you to send a link of this to our dropbox so we can keep track.
once characters enter the arena things will rely more on writing than commenting, which is why we'll have a capitol custom in which you can chat about the games as if your character is a member of the capitol. this way we can still have fun with what happens in the arena.
no matter at what point of the games we're at, you're always more than welcome to write narratives and scenes about things that don't take place in the arena or during the hunger games at all.
all injuries and alliances formed have to be submitted to us through our dropbox, every week we'll be posting a summary of what happened in the arena.
note that for the better part this is a community where things happen organically, unless your character is a victor they won't know anyone from other districts (and only then it's when they're also victors). obviously, you may create lines with the tributes from your character's district, but it's not required.
in order to track activity, we ask that by the end of the month you've linked us to a scene/narrative you've participated in that month - if it's private, open it for us to to see until we sign off on your activity.
if you've been selected during our raffle, we'll ask that the starter to the scene gets posted in the subcomm within a week by either sides of the fight and that the other party replies to it within a week of its posting. we know that could sound as demanding, but it's a pivotal plot point and we need to know whether or not both people are still with us. if one of the parties seems to have died off and hasn't posted/replied within the allotted time schedule they'll be removed and the other party's name will be added twice to the next raffle.
your friends list must be updated every two weeks. |
